
Captain Zach has been fishing Cayuga Lake for more than 30 years. He is a United States Coast Guard Certified Master Captain. He grew up fishing the Finger Lakes and their tributaries. His grandfather had a boat and a fishing camp on Cayuga Lake, and this is where he first learned the techniques of trolling back in the 1980s. Zach has had many successful years fishing Cayuga Lake and can speak to the history of the area and the lake.
His First Mate is Tim. Tim is Zach's youngest son and has been fishing on Cayuga lake with his father since he was barely able to walk. Tim has Matured into a very Knowledgeable fisherman himself and is usually found working the deck. Tim has a love of the outdoors and has logged more hours fishing than most adults have. It's not uncommon for Tim to do an all-day charter and then return to the water to fish on his own time.

Chief Engineer Cameron "The Boat Guy," is Zachs middle son and is a true fish hunter. Cameron has logged many years on Cayuga Lake. Cameron is usually found at the helm and has the most important job of finding and keeping the Avalon on the fish. His ability to read the sonar and charts is second to none. Cameron is also in charge of all the small details that keep the fish coming to the deck. Cameron truly has a love for being on the water. |
